Interview with Keeley Greenmire (a character in Jill S. Donaldson's CHOCOLATE TEARS)

What did you have for dinner?

My dream dinner would be to meet Colton Miller down by the Riverwalk and eat turkey and bacon double cheese sandwiches with red potato and parmesan potato salad on a blanket across from live Red Dirt music; and for dessert, his chocolate cherry bon bons passed from his mouth to mine, of course.

What's your earliest memory?

My earliest memory is of my younger sister and I riding a yellow tandem tricycle threw the remodeling of what is now Mom and Dad’s duel shop Candy and Floral Expressions. We would make a stop by the ice chest and sneak a drink of Mom’s Dr. Pepper.

Who's your best friend?

My best friend Catori Gomirez and I met at school in first grade when we had to stand in line in alphabetical order. We were the only to G names for years and each semester, we made up new cheers. The first one was G names got great gum…goooo G names!

What's your favorite movie?

My favorite movie is Princess Bride...true love never fails.

What do you wish your superpower was?

If I could choose a superpower, it would be to heal anything. Maybe I could stop the pain of death and suffering.

Do you have a bad habit?

The bad habit that I hate the most is unconsciously tracing my misshaped belly scar when I’m nervous or upset. The scar deformed my belly button kind of like untimely death deforms the souls of those still living.
